Privacy & cookies
This page explains what taxHub collects, why, and the choices you have. It is written to meet Sri Lanka's Personal Data Protection Act No. 9 of 2022 and the EU GDPR.
taxHub is owned and operated by Sen & Co BV (Aalst, Belgium, VAT BE 1030.437.928), the controller of the personal data described here.
What we collect
- When you sign in with Google: your name, email address and profile photo, used only to identify your account and show who is signed in. We never see your Google password.
- Analytics (only if you accept): Google Analytics records pages viewed, approximate location (country and city, from your IP address, which is not stored), device type and which tools are used. Signed-in visits are linked to a random account ID, never to your email address.
- What you enter in tools (values, shipments) stays in your browser. Shared CusDec links carry the shipment in the link itself.
Cookies and local storage
__session: keeps you signed in for up to 7 days. Strictly necessary; set only when you sign in._ga,_ga_*: Google Analytics, set only after you choose Accept analytics. Until then analytics runs in a cookieless mode.- Local storage (
taxhub:consent,taxhub:cusdec): remembers your cookie choice and your unsaved CusDec draft on this device.
Your choices
You can change your analytics choice at any time from the Cookie settings link in the footer. Signing out removes the session cookie. To have your account deleted, contact us and we will remove it.
Processors
Google (Firebase Authentication, Google Cloud hosting in the asia-south1 region, Google Analytics) processes data on our behalf. We don't sell personal data or use it for advertising.
